Originally from the Boston metro area, Dylan pursued a degree in International Relations with a minor in Mandarin Chinese at New York University. He’s been an organizer for Elizabeth Warren and the Roosevelt Institute, consulted for UNICEF, and was a Princeton in Asia Fellow in Wuhan, China.

Currently, Dylan lives in New York City, doing communications for the Participatory Budgeting Project, and occasionally sending stories to SupChina. His past-times include reading about politics, economics & history, writing music, and making really bad dad jokes. He also makes a podcast about urban development with his friends called MuniciPals.

He can be reached at dylanwelch2000@gmail.com or, less reliably, on Twitter (@Dylan_J_Welch).
